Charity partner

Homes for Scotland is proud to have supported Habitat for Humanity over the last three years, raising over £80,000 to help this leading shelter charity in its mission to provide the poorest and most vulnerable around the world with a decent place to call home.

In addition to the generous donations received at our Annual Lunches held during this period, HFS Chief Executive Nicola Barclay and colleague Gill Henry of Hart Builders took part in a Mumbai Women Build in January 2017, building a home to withstand the monsoon rains for a young family

So inspired was Nicola that she instigated a dedicated HFS Build in Kenya in April 2019, where Gill and 16 other industry volunteers joined her to help provide a safe, secure home for an 84-year old widow and her orphaned grandchildren.
