Homes for Scotland introduced its annual awards scheme in 2003 in order to reflect the Scottish home building industry's commitment to best practice and improving standards.
The awards have previously considered the design of new development layouts as well as customer service and innovation, key areas of importance both to the industry and stakeholders such as the Scottish Government and other influential organisations which have welcomed the initiative.
