David Horsfall
Senior Planning Adviser
David has a strong background in property development having worked for two of the largest house builders in the UK and prior to joining Homes for Scotland in September 2006 spent two years working for an Edinburgh based planning consultant.
David qualified from Northumbria University in 2002 with a Bsc (Hons) degree in Housing Development and has subsequently become professionally qualified with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in the field of Planning and Development.
David is responsible for reviewing and commenting on Structure Plans, Local Plans, Housing Land Audits, National Planning Policy and Advice as well as representing and promoting the industry to local authorities, statutory bodies and other groups.
