Mark Russell - Principal Planning Advisor
Mark joined the Homes for Scotland Planning Team in January 2016 with a background in planning and in particular development management.
Although he has principally worked in the public sector, most recently as Lead Officer at Fife Council, Mark also worked as an Associate Director at RPS Group Plc for a number of years.
A graduate of Heriot Watt University, Mark became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2000.
Working closely with both the Head of Planning and the Chief Executive, Mark is involved in supporting HFS member interests through Scotland-wide committees as well as reviewing and influencing emerging Strategic Development Plans, Local Development Plans, Supplementary Guidance and related housing policy matters.
